When Ministry Today approached me last fall to write a feature article on my book, Our Unfair Advantage: How to Unleash the Power of the Holy Spirit in Your Business, I of course jumped on that offer. Since then, they have kindly posted dozens of my articles.

Believers in business have an unfair competitive advantage that few recognize and even fewer leverage.
I see it every day. Faithful Christian business leaders work incredibly long, hard hours yet fail to unleash their unfair advantage with its unlimited potential to create, design, build, innovate, sell, engage, redefine and dominate their market space for God’s glory.
Sadly, this unfair advantage is readily available. What are we missing? What are we not recognizing?

“He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, and for the building up of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-12).
Jesus gives supernatural leadership gifts to those He chooses to accomplish His work. Let’s review the supernatural leadership role of an apostle in business.
In a previous post I shared “5 Things Every Pastor Needs to Know About Marketplace Leaders” on how to begin a business impact dialogue with your Pastor. This post continues the dialogue.
Believers in business need direct help from their pastors in how to be a better marketplace leader. Yet so many marketplace leaders I advise tell me their pastors rarely if ever speak to this real and urgent need.
Here is a brief overview of four critical things business people need from pastors with specific suggestions on how to implement each one.
